Kremer Chosen as ASCM International Scholar
Dayton—The Dayton ASCM Chapter sponsored a local student’s trip to the 2016 APICS International Conference in Washington, DC, on September 25-27. Jordan Kremer, a student at the University of Dayton, was selected along with 40 other supply chain students from around the world, to participant in the ASCM Scholars Program. The Dayton ASCM Chapter also funded his admission and travel to the conference. “It was a great experience,” said Kremer, a sophomore at UD. “I was able to attend seminars on inventory management presented by leaders in the industry, network with professionals from around the world, and receive career advice that will assist me at the start of my professional career.” The scholars program also required an in-depth study and presentation on a current issue regarding the supply chain field. ASCM is an association for supply chain management professionals. The Dayton Chapter provides educational development tools for its members through certifications, Professional Development Meetings (PDM), and informative sessions.
